So you got a Netflix subscription and you go to this app hoping for a good watch. But with so many options, this streaming platform can sometimes feel like a maze. And though it seems impossible not to find a worthy flick to watch, it is even more possible to end up with lousy ones (even those shows in the Top 10 list). December 16, 1999 Thursday, PH Dear Christmas Diary, I have chosen this day (December 16) to start my Christmas journal because I think this should be the official time to start Christmas celebrations here in the Philippines. Well, we actually start it way earlier than today – by the time the “ber months” (from September to December) roll in, people start to unconsciously dream about festivities – that is the informal start of Christmas here. This is one reason why they say that Christmas celebrations is said to be the longest here. So the excitement, enthusiasm, and preparations of the people for the upcoming holiday is very much in the air long before today. Still, today (Dec 16) is a very special one because it marks the start of the nine-day midnight mass novena and I attended. I am actually proud and happy to say that I started my Christmas with God. Pros and Cons of Working from Home

July 26, 2023, Wednesday 9:48 a.m, PH time This is turning out to be a slow week for me. Can't believe it is only Wednesday but I have been in weekend mode since yesterday, most probably because I have my period. As I woke up with little or almost no desire to get up; in fact I want to go straight back to sleep...I felt grateful for the privilege to stay in bed as I please (even for just a few minutes). It dawned on me that a huge reason why this is possible is because I am working remotely. Still, there are moments when i sorely missed working on-site. As I further reflect on this, I realized that working from home (if possible depending on your job) is really not for everybody. Here are some of my realizations.
