Procrastination is a bad and persistent habit. Whenever we have to do something important or productive, its voice will call and tempt you and pester you with all the reasons you can think of just so you will put off the task for another hour, another day, another week, another month and before you know it, years had passed without you accomplishing anything.
Well you can let yourself fall into that vicious trap or ignore it, fight it and win over it.
Start by saying to yourself that procrastination is no help. We put off tasks because we find thing to bedifficult.- we think we need some time to think, to rest, to get ready.
But hey- putting off the tasks makes a small job bigger and more difficult.
You put off a task but you keep on thinking about it. It haunts your dreams and bother your peace. It is like an ugly feeling in the stomach that won’t go away.
But if you do it as soon as you can, the task is surprisingly easy. And you can forget about it. Andyou feel accomplished. If there’s something that needs to be changed or improved then you can deal with it some other time
So get up and get moving and finish that small task right now!
