A PH holiday, freaking hot day
No one is perfectly capable and knowledgeable all the time. That is why we all need some guidance at one point (or should I say many points) in our lives. Expect to receive all kinds of advice (unsolicited and otherwise) in every possible way. Though some advice can be tiring and annoying to hear, I believe we are often given good advice that we simply take for granted. Those advice that you barely hear, never took seriously and then later realized that it matters a lot.
So who doesn't need an advice? No matter how strong and wise you think you are, it still pays to listen to other's take on some matter. In my case, I think the best advice I have ever received comes in the form of a song. It is the sunscreen song from Baz Luhrmann. I first heard it years ago and I have always loved the song. But just recently I heard it again and I can't believe how every word feels like a blow because it is so true. I dont even know who Baz Luhrmann is but big thanks for the words of wisdom anyway.
I think every youngster should listen to this song and take every piece of advice to heart. Anyway, I am going out right after publishing this post and I will surely remember to wear sunscreen. This is the lyrics:

children respected their elders

your elders

expect anyone else to support you
Maybe you
have a trust fund, maybe you'll have a wealthy spouse
But you
never know when either one might run out
Don't mess
too much with your hair
Or by the
time you're 40 it will look 85
Be careful
whose advice you buy but be patient with those who supply it
Advice is a
form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past
From the
disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts
And
recycling it for more than it's worth
But trust
me on the sunscreen
