Why Behind Her Eyes is a must-see TV series?
Not a typical story.
This psychological thriller starts with a typical plot– a single mother meeting a guy she likes who turns out to be his married boss. It has elements that viewers are all so familiar with – affairs, betrayals, and lies entangled in relationships such as marriage and friendship. Yet amid the normal plot, viewers know that there is something more than meets the eye. And you can stay glued to the show hoping to unravel the kind of mysteries hiding behind the exterior. If you are someone who hates stories with predictable plots, you will surely love watching “Behind Her Eyes.“
Slowly builds your curiosity.
This show requires patience as there will be moments when it seems like nothing is happening. Yet because of great acting and storytelling, the slow pace is hardly boring.
The show may leave you confused and clueless as to what is really going on. Yet you get helplessly hooked as it will force you to think and conjure up your own wild assumptions. It gradually reveals the secrets it is hiding, leaving you unable to abandon it. You just have to know the answer to your burning questions.
Only six short episodes with explosive ending.
An awesome mystery thriller, the show will make you feel like a detective. It is like a puzzle or a maze you have to solve. It is a relief that it only has six short episodes so you can conveniently binge watch it till the end.
This review does not want to give out any spoilers so it will just come with assurance that the ending is truly worth the wait. After watching it, one of the first thought that will likely come to mind is- I want more shows like that. Although a spin-off would be great, no Season 2 is on the horizon.
