It is 6 days to go before Christmas...
Well, I noticed that all shops, kiosks, and boutiques in the mall have Christmas greetings and decorations. Christmas trees and decorations are on sale now maybe because the event is fast approaching. Speaking of sales, Christmas promos and specials are everywhere. There is a bazaar featuring various Christmas decors that also serves as an extended venue of the department store and supermarket. The bazaar is filled with Christmas products such as ham, castanas, chocolates, and other food packages for Noche Buena. They say everything is available in discounted prices.
Also, when you view it from outside, the mall seems sparkling; brighter and colorful than before. Of course, the Christmas greetings are mixed with the posters about the coming millennium. But once you get inside the mall, you will discover a jungle. Quite messy because of the crowd and also bustling with activity. No one seems to stay still. Shoppers moving around, sales clerks arranging displays, maintenance personnel mopping floors, supervisors maintaining the order, guards staying alert. Amidst this busy state, Christmas tunes fill the air, hoping to soothe the tired and dazed customers and workers. I wonder if all this madness is worth it once Christmas day arrives...
