Christmas Diary – December 19, 1999

I am at the mall to work today and I arrived earlier than usual because I wanted to enjoy the holiday decorations and feel the overall aura of the place. Quite weird because I go there almost every day but the sheer number of people I have to attend to hinders me from really seeing the changes that took place since mid-November. As expected, since it is a Sunday during the holiday season, the crowd is enormous!

So many people at the mall! One will wonder how it is possible to have so many people at the same time and place. I also start to think that if you are one of the shoppers today, then it makes you a pretty predictable, common individual since you think so much like the others.

I guess thinking differently like shopping earlier to avoid Christmas rush makes one extraordinary.
